Description:
The
HVAC systems is designed in order to:
Monitor and maintain a maximum positive pressure
inside the TRB during normal operation.
Assuring air to the Temporary Refuge Barge TRB in
the event of mustering of all POB (900 max) in the
TR from the adjacent process plant and give
personnel protection up to 3 hours.
To give a 10 second retention time from confirmed
presence of HC/toxic gas/smoke at the intake to the
HVAC air intake to allow fire/gas dampers to fully
close.
Provide a temperature and humidity control both in
stand-by and emergency condition.
The Breathing Air System is composed by:
The
breathing air compressors package, the breathing air
bottles system package, the pressure reduction
groups package, the breathing air cascade system,
the air lock breathing air pressurization and
nozzles washing system, the T.R. breathing air
pressurization system, the HP air bottles refilling
package, the instrument air system, the piping
distribution and connections to various packages to
be installed on the TRB.
